Alpha

We have run Alpha courses for over ten years on a regular basis. It has been a wonderful way of reaching those who are exploring the christian faith for the first time, those who are unsure of their faith, those who have come back to their faith after many years and thise who are seeking to know the fundamentals of the christian faith.

The course is run free of charge and all are welcome. It compromises of a meal where we get to know one another, watching a video where we can explore what we have heard and share what we think and feel in an open and friendly way. Above all, we can enjoy ourselves together and find new friends and a relationship with Jesus.

Alpha has changed lives and we have been blessed by the way that God has brought to us folk who are now active members of the church and indeed to go one to serve the Lord full time outside Canterbury.

Our aim is to allow people to join the course once, and we do not encourage anyone who has already completed the course here or elsewhere to go on Alpha again. There are other oppertunities for them to learn about Jesus, such as small groups.
