Messy Harvest

On Saturday 1st October, St. Andrew’s welcomed many families for an action-packed Messy Harvest. It was a fun afternoon with plenty of crafts (potato printing, fruit salad making, weaving crafts, and more), singing, and prayers, as well as a short talk to get us exploring our theme together.

At Harvest we give thanks to God for all He has given us, as well as considering those less fortunate than ourselves. We enjoyed exploring the Fruits of the Spirit which God gives us when we choose to follow Him, and several donations were collected for the Canterbury Foodbank which provides food parcels for those in temporary financial difficulty.

We ended our afternoon together with hot dogs and cake in the Hall.

Please join us on Saturday 17th December for our next Messy Church – a Messy Christmas!
