Messy Church

Messy Church is church with a difference. We do exactly as the title says; we get messy as we come together to learn and meet with Jesus!

On a Saturday afternoon (usually every other month) people of all ages come together for a time to explore our theme of the day in a creative way. With crafts to make (including edible ones) and games to play, we enjoying spending time meeting new people and discovering what is it to be part of a Christian community.

After getting messy we worship together with fun action songs, discover more about our theme through a short talk/story, and spend time in prayer. It is a time of sharing and celebration! To finish our afternoon we share food together in the church hall.

The themes for our Messy Church range from Christmas and Easter to Valentine's Day. Previous activities have included Easter biscuits, Heart-shaped baskets, Egg decorating, and giant Jenga.

We would love to welcome you to St. Andrew's - come, join us and get messy!
