Sparklers Creche

Sparklers' crèche caters for 0-4 year olds and now welcomes an average of 3 children each Sunday, after 5 'graduated' to Bright Sparks in September. 

We have two adults running the crèche each session.

We have presented the following themes to the children over the past year: 

• What's the weather like?                      

• God gives us families

• Finding out about Jesus                       

• God gives us people

• God's wonderful world                         

• The Christmas story

• People we meet                                 

• Stories Jesus told

• The Easter story

As usual we use the basic themes and material found in the 'Tiddlywinks' resources supplied by Scripture Union.  The sessions run, with play activities available on the theme, often a colouring sheet or puzzle sheet, sometimes a simple game, a bible story, a craft activity and some songs.

Help is always welcome: anything from just holding a baby, to helping children complete an activity, or leading a session with another to support.
