Worship

Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God - this is your spiritual act of worship.
Romans 12:1

Worship is first and foremost for His benefit, not ours, though it is marvellous to discover that in giving Him pleasure, we ourselves enter into what can become our richest and most wholesome experience in life.
Graham Kendrick p.58 A Heart For Worship by Lamar Boschman

Worship is central to the life of St.Andrew’s church. We believe we serve an awesome, compassionate, graceful God who has revealed himself to humanity through Jesus Christ.

The revelation of God to the world demands an appropriate response, this response is what we call worship. As we become aware of our need for forgiveness and grace we turn to God to thank and praise him for what he has done in our lives and in the lives of those around us.

We express worship through sacrificial lives and look to worship God in all we do, at work, with our families and when we gather as church.
