About St Andrew's Church

St Andrew's Church in Canterbury is a vibrant, friendly church in the centre of Canterbury.  We are a fellowship of all ages and backgrounds, people who seek to love and serve God and to follow Him throughout their lives.

We are fortunate to have a modern building adjacent to the main shopping area.  We have a range of facilities which are used for church events throughout the week and can be booked for meetings, concerts and other events as well as for weddings, baptisms, funerals and thanksgiving services.  Facilities include a main hall, separate hall for sports etc, fully-equipped kitchen, café area, range of meeting rooms and a small car park.  Audio-visual equipment, including a data projector and loop facility, is available in the main church area.  The building is wheelchair accessible and has a disabled toilet and baby changing facilities.

Oasis café opens Tuesday-Friday from 10am to 2pm, offering a wide selection of hot and cold lunches, snacks and drinks in comfortable surroundings.  Ideally placed close to the main shopping centre, Oasis café is a great place for a good, reasonably priced break in the midst of a busy day!  Come for some rest and relaxation on your own or with friends. Our team of volunteers is on hand to serve you or to chat or pray with you, if you wish.  Wifi is available.
